Sensory Integration can be enhanced through movement

When a child's movements are smooth and integrated, and their senses are all working together, they feel more confident.  It improves health, concentration,
brain-body integration, social interactions, learning readiness & expands their range of enriching experiences.
This is especially important to children with
limited opportunities to participate in competitive, organized sports, such as a child with adaptive needs.

Yoga is a naturally integrated movement system helping all senses &  body & brain to work together. It is a movement activity that can be easily modified &
adapted to any ability. Through breath techniques, interactive movement games & targeted movements, children can be more in tune with  their body & the
sensations they experience. They  can learn naturally how to self-calm & respond during times of anxiety & tension or to new people and situations.

Our sensory friendly, yoga-based adaptive movement programs & social groups are modeled with a philosophy  which emphasizes meaningful, adaptive, fun
& inclusive activities rather than prescriptive programs. Our yoga classes use  adaptive yoga,                          ,
Brain Balance and other  targeted movement
techniques, storytelling, music & art  to engage the whole child.
All children of all abilities can participate!

BodyLogique®  has designed the area's first  programs (called S.M.Art Kids® Adaptive Yoga and Sensory Fit™ ) that addresses sensory, stress &
social needs.  We have carefully designed the program to be adaptable to age and ability; to stimulate & integrate the sensory system; and to follow the
school phys-ed criteria set by the                                                                                                        as well as the PA Department of  Education's
Core Education Standards.

We partner with professionals, schools, learning centers, art & nature centers, community organizations, therapists & individuals to bring our programs
to as many children as possible.
